One reel to reel recording. Dan Smith was a harmonica player from White Plains, NY. Dobbs was from Palatka. McKinney played the violin. The Hallmans were from Greenville, S.C. The Dirt Kickers were a string band from Tallahassee. Dinella and Myers were singer-guitarists from Tampa. Moore was from Green Cove Springs. Hancock was a dulcimer player from Suffolk, Virginia. Joe mark was from Chapel Hill, NC. The LeFevres were from Knoxville, and consisted of Richard, Shirley, Corey, Amy, and Geoffrey. Will McLean (the Black Hat Troubadour) was a singer-songwriter-guitarist from Orlando. Betty Smith was a dulcimer player from Marietta, Georgia. Jones and Quimby sang African American spirituals -- from Brunswick, Georgia, they would later be known as the Georgia Sea Island Singers. Huber was also from Knoxville, Tennessee. Listed in the program as Eugenia Sisinni Jones, the singer-guitarist was later known as Jeanie Fitchen. The Abundant life Singers were from Clearwater, and Malkine was from New York.

One reel to reel recording. Boltin served as emcee. The New Sand Mountain Wildcats was from Lutz; they consisted of Ernie Williams, Rob Levine (psychology professor), Shellie Yeager, Daralyn Caudill (teacher), and Bill Dudley (a FM disc jockey). Kloiber, at the time a law student at the University of Virginia, was from West Palm Beach; Gerard, a speech graduate student at the University of Tampa, was from Lake City. They met and began playing traditional folk music while students at Florida State University. Blues singer Brown was from St. Petersburg. George and Marilyn Heaps-Nelson were from Swainsboro, Georgia. Bonk was from Atlanta, Georgia.

One audio cassette tape. McKenzie served as emcee. Liliane Nerette Louis, Haitian storyteller, tells "Knick Knack" (a story about a "stupid" family) and a "Bouki" story. She also talks about mother's day in Haiti as well as some Haitian history and culture (such as stories being passed down through women). Kazuko Law and Wako Kai perform Japanese dance (Dionna Godwin of Gulf Breeze, FL, interprets). They perform: traditional wedding dance; Okasa Wakari Bushi (farewell dance); Honan Ondo (folk dance for harvest); Heisei Iwai (dance wishing peace and happiness from Emperor); Kawachi Otoko Busiti (dance about the life of a flamboyant man; they perform this dance twice with audience participation).
