Tallahassee. 11 Dec. 1837: Letter to R.K. Call from Watt b. Rivas. Regarding event of 31st December 1835. Crossing of a river at bank of "Withlanoc" (sic) for supporting the regular troops. No order prohibiting the men from crossing the River was given. States when Call and Col. Parrish heard the regular troops were in trouble, they ordered the men to cross but it wasn't possible.
