- One reel to reel recording. Boltin served as emcee. The Peyton Brothers (John Dan, Mike, and Lee) were from Jacksonville, and played for the Southern Appalachian Cloggers. At the time Evelyn lived in Petersburg, New York. Popular on the folk circuit in the 1960s, she performed with late husband Bob (and later daughter Martha)as the popular folk act, the Beers Family. They were sent in 1968 by the U.S. Dept. of State on a tour on India, and once played for the White House in 1969. In 1966, they also began the popular Fox Hollow Festival in upstate New York. In 1972, Bob Beers died in a car crash. Crider and Bittner, from Windsor, played environmental songs. Their set is continued on T80-28.
