General Note

  • This grass, a native of Africa, yields heavy crops of palatable end highly nutrious feed. It is a rank growing cane-like perennial that grows 12 ft. or more depending upon the fertility of the soil. Because of its high protein content and its decidedly palatable nature it is especially suitable as a green feed for dairy animals.
