  • Sig Haugdahl with an early version of the Wisconsin Special, powered by a Wisconsin Aviation motor that had been purchased by J. Alex Sloan right after WWI. After changes made by Haugdahl and mechanic Jimmy Chai, the Wisconsin Special was the first car to go 180 mph on April 6, 1922.
