Mr. Bailey is a 50-year resident of island. Native of Richmond, Virginia, he came to island when Sanibel was vegetable center of south. Now only agricultural activity is Bailey's annual 3-season garden of truck crops of cabbage, turnips, tomatoes, potatoes, asparagus etc.
