Edward Epps was the assistant butler for 27 years at the Stotebury estate.
The photograph was taken during the Stotesbury auction.
The entire furnishings of "El Mirasol", the estate of the late Eva R. Stotesbury (Mrs. Edward T. Stotesbury) were sold on the premises from February 25-28 and March 1st and 3rd, 1947.
