International's "Bigger Digger" bites a carload of phosphate with every nip of 100-ton bucket, removing 3,000 tons of concentrate a day. The "giant duck" weighs 2,571,000 pounds and stands on paddle feet 54 by 9 feet. Westinghouse electric motor--2100 horse power. Boom is 215-feet and has a reach of 218 feet.
