Haydon Burns' legislative program in the Senate, was named yesterday to the judgeship in the 1st District Court of Appeals by the 1965 regular session. The Quincy lawmaker has long been a leader in the small county block is now serving his 10th regular session in the Senate and was president of that body during the 1959 legislature. He is shown here on the Apportionment Committee of the Senate shortly after Governor Burns made the announcement."
