Accompanying note: "Dr. J. Broward Culpepper, gesturing at left, executive director of the State Board of Control, and Dr. C.R. Foreman, of Fort Lauderdale, also a member of the board, are shown as they asked the state cabinet for release of $250,000 to continue expansion of teaching facilities at the University of Florida Hospital at Gainesville. Cabinet rejected proposition by a 4-2 vote but did release $100,000 of a legislative appropriation. Cabinet said it would consider hospital's need for additional funds in June or July."
