Accompanying note: "The body of State Treasurer J. Edwin Larson lays in state in the Capitol rotunda near the Great Seal of Florida and attended by an Honor Guard. The 64-year old Cabinet member served Florida for more than a quarter of a century. The last public official to lay in state was Gov. Dan McCarty in Sept. 1953. Honor Guards at right are State Highway Patrolmen Capt. C.C. Reynolds, center, and at right is Cpl. B.E. McCrery, Orlando. U.S. Army man right background not identified. Left foreground is Conservation Department Sgt. Lewis Shelffer."
