A joint Senate-House Conference Committee dig in with their seperate and passeed Appropriations bills in an effort to come up with a matching spending bill the state will need for the coming two years. The House earlier approved their record spending bill of $1.086 billion but the Senate was more liberal with their $1.093 billion. L-R: Wallace Henderson, Director of the Budget; Representative J.J.
