- Senate Public Health Committee members discussing a proposed bill for Florida milk - Tallahassee, Florida
- Photographed on May 26, 1965.
- Senator Askew's bill was designed to safeguard the public and put Florida milk in competition with milk shipped into the state from out-of-state producers. The proposal, first started in the House, would affect only milk for pasteurization, not for ice cream, butter, and other dairy products. Part of the committee members (L-R): Beth Johnson, Orlando; Reubin Askew, Pensacola; and Ed Price, Bradenton.
