General Note

  • This one-story brick Bungalow was built circa 1925 by James K. Ward Jr. and features a Flemish bond (alternating headers and stretchers in each row) composed of contrasting red and dark colored bricks set between vertical piers of red bricks. A double-wide porte-cochere, also supported by large red brick piers, extends off the rear, south, side of the house. It is a contributing property to the Church Street Historic District that was later added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places on August 21, 1997.
