General Note

  • Parts of this building are believed to date from 1889 when a church was erected by James E. Lee, a pioneer from Dawson, Georgia. Built of heart pine and cypress, the church was moved to its present location from another position on the same lot. Electric lights were installed in 1910, and a brick sidewalk was laid out in 1911.
