  • Pinewood Estate features a twenty-room Mediterranean Revival mansion built in the 1930s by industrialist C. Austin Buck and originally named "El Retiro" meaning retreat in Spanish. It was acquired by Bok Tower Gardens in 1970 and later added to the National Register of Historic Places on December 12, 1985.
