Airport developed to maximize passenger convenience while minimizing operational and maintenance costs. The airport utilizes a landside/airside concept, linked by a people-mover. Lakes and waterways have been interspersed. The airport is situated on 7,000 acres. The 48 gate terminal building has the capacity to adequately handle up to 12 million passengers annually.
