General Note
The two-way radio phone, originally installed for use in emergencies, had been granted permission for use in dispatching service instructions. The central broadcasting and receiving station, WDOX, is located in the Pahokee offices and the 155-foot transmitting antenna was located across the highway while the 85-foot receiving antenna was located near the Pahokee State Farmers' Market.
