The two-way radio phone, originally installed for use in emergencies, had been granted permission for use in dispatching service instructions. The central broadcasting and receiving station, WDOX, is located in the Pahokee offices. Shown may be Mrs. Inez Reeves, one of only three employees licensed to operate the station.
