Designed by the City's Landscape Architect, Frank Button, and Denman Fink, the City's Artistic Director. It is located at the intersection of Coral Way, South Greenway Drive, De Soto Boulevard and Anderson Road. Plaza named for the Spanish conquistador Vasco Nunez de Balboa.
