Biographical Note
During the 1920s and '30s Neal "Petey" Chapline lived in Detroit and, under the name of Molly Carewe, wrote and produced shows for a number of radio stations. Area newspapers also carried her feature articles. She returned to Florida in 1944 to write. After several jobs around the state, she settled in Sarasota with her second husband, Tod Swalm.
