Note this scene took place in front of Brown & Stokes Real Estate and Insurance on Main St.
Accompanying note: "Sarasota Army Air Field facilitated several events in June 1944 to promote the war bond sale known as the Fifth War Loan. Activities included an 'open house' day at the base for bond purchasers, parades in both Sarasota and Bradenton, and an opportunity for bond purchasers to be photographed inside the cockpit of a P-40 Warhawk. A 'blockbuster' shell was also on display in Sarasota for bond purchasers to sign."
