"The donor, Michael J. Drake, received this photo from Dale Aylward of Sarasota."
Accompanying note: "Carlstrom Field and nearby Dorr Field were established in early 1918 as training centers for the U.S. Army Air Service. Carlstrom Field was later upgraded for service during World War II. The facility was eventually converted into the G. Pierce Wood Memorial Hospital."
