Accompanying note: "Republican vice presidential candidate William Miller delivers an indictment of the Johnson administration to a crowd of 1,500 Tallahasseeans massed at the steps of the Capitol yesterday. Hecklers attempted to interrupt his speech at several points, and the crowd's attention was diverted from Miller once when a youth carrying a Goldwater sign used it to rip up a large Johnson-Humphrey banner carried by Negro and white university students."
