General Note
Accompanying note: "A trip to Miami is not complete without a visit to the famous Parrot Jungle. Here Parrots, Macaws and Cockatoos fly free, yet can be fed from the visitors hand and easily photographed perched on one's arm against a background of natural jungle beauty."
The park was opened by Franz Scherr on December 20, 1936. Note the Mute swans in the foreground and African crowned cranes to the right of the flamingos.
