Accompanying note: "Fire destroyed an apartment repair shop building and dock belonging to W. A. (Heck) Lynn in St. Marks this morning before Tallahassee fire trucks arrived. Tallahassee Chief Earl Levy credited these volunteers with preventing the fire from burning cottages, at left, and the Tenneco houseboat, upper right."
