Unveiling at the left is Lucille C. Alexander, granddaughter of Lewis Washington Taylor, and on the right is Carmen Howell Ferguson, youngest daughter of Aquilina C. Howell (granddaughter of Lewis Washington Taylor). Fourth from left is Florida State Representative Alan Williams. Man standing behind woman unveiling on the right is Commissioner Scott Maddox. Woman 4th from the right is Commissioner Mary Ann Lindley.
The Taylor House Museum was built in 1894 by Lewis Washington and Lucretia McPherson Taylor and restored in 1995 to its original 1894 period appearance by the Tallahassee Urban League, Incorporated.
