Seated behind Howell is Virginia Landers (later Lawrence), she was later principal of FAMU High's Dev. Research School. Businessman in the middle is Raleigh Hayward (he had a filling station on Brevard). Partially visible by Hayward's sleeve is Delores Bright. Woman standing at right is Pilar Rhaney. Behind Rhaney is Evelyn Pemberton (later Hackney). Barbara Coleman by plant (plaid). Van Smith at right with head in hand. Essie Brown right foreground.
