A.S. Cole and others was read to the Board in the following words to wit:

To the Honorable Judge of Probate and Board of County Commissions.

I the undersigned your petition have been a resident of this neighborhood for a number of years and am deeply interested in the road I travel leading from my house to the Thomasville road near Captain William Lester which is now closed with the exception of gates which I have been notified by Dr. Edward Bradford would be closed entirely, greatly to my detriment. Said road runs through said Bradford land, but has been a road of ingress and egress for the last fifteen or twenty years. It is my nearest road to Tallahassee and to that portion of the neighborhood in which my largest practice lays, by closing said road it would greatly inconvenience persons sending for me on professional business as it would compel them to go some five miles further. I therefore pray you to give it your consideration and report whether or not the said Bradford would be damaged more by the road being opened or the community by its being closed.

Very respectfully yours,

A.S. Cole

We the undersigned resident of this neighborhood join with A.S. Cole in his position. R. C. Williams, A. R. Combs, Lyman Smith, M.A. Grambling, C.C. Williams, Adam Grambling, John W. House, A.P. Gram-
