And afterwards to wit at a circuit court for the county of Leon continued and held at the Court house in the city of Tallahassee on Wednesday the 18[th] day of October 1858 the following entry appears on the minute book of said court to wit:

Arthur Macon (Plaintiff)


Tallahassee and St Marks Rail Road Company (Defendant)

Action on Case- this day came the parties by their Attorneys, and thereupon came a Jury to wit: G.C. Townsend, J. Moody, W. Gortney, G. W. Jones, Henry Stroman, George Zuker, C. M. Fisher, W. Y. Ferrell, A.T. Paramore, Donald Cameron, Otis Fairbanks, and H. B. Fritts, being duly elected, tried, and sworn the truth to speak upon the issue join having heard the evidence and argument of Counsel and considered of their verdict upon their oath do say "We the Jury find for the plaintiff and assess the damages at six hundred dollars, therefore it is considered by the court that the plaintiff recover against the defendant the sum of six hundred dollars, the damages assessed by the Jury aforesaid
