And now on the day and year last aforesaid, after the decree aforesaid had been pronounced as aforesaid, A. Gordon Esquire, Proctor for Libellants and petitions as aforesaid, filed his prayer praying an appeal in this cause so far as regards Jacob Houseman and Latham Brightman, master of the said wrecking vessels Fair-American and Sarah Isabella, and which said prayer is in the words and figures following, to wit:

In this cause, A. Gordon, Proctor for Libellants and Petitioners, in behalf of Jacob Houseman, master of the Schooner Sarah Isabella and Latham Brightman, master of the schr Fair-American, prays an appeal from so much of the final decree entered in this cause as forfeits the shares of the masters of said schooners or any port thereof for any alleged misconduct to the Court of Appeals, and offers F.A. Brown Esqr. as bondsman on the appeal Bond.
