Accompanying note: "Henry McMillan was the commanding officer of Company M and Jay Hall a platoon leader. Their unit was mobilized 25 November 1940. This photo was taken in the 1937-1940 time frame."
"After WWII both officers continued to serve in the Florida National Guard in many capacities. In 1962 Henry McMillan was appointed Adjutant General of Florida and served in this capacity until 1975 retiring in 1975. Jay Hall served in the 124th Infantry until his retirement."
