  • George Holt and four confederate cannons at the Soldiers Monument Springfield, Massachusetts. Born at St. Marks, Florida January 5th 1845. Enlisted at Newport February 28, 1863 in 2nd Florida Cavalry, Company D. George W. Scott Captain.
  • Twelve pound Napoleon cannon, all brass manufacture at the Confederate Arsenal in Columbus, Georgia in 1863 and 1864 from Brass bells donated by southern churches and public buildings.
