Caligiuri's Machine Shop - Ybor City, Florida

Caligiuri's Machine Shop was located on Washington Avenue.
Pasquale Caligiuiri came to New York, from Italy, in 1895. Moved to Jacksonville, where he was employed by the Merrill Stevens shipyard as a machinist until the yard closed in 1921. Moved to Tampa where he was the foreman in the machine shop of Tampa Shibbuilding & Engineering. Moved to Ybor City where his machine shop serviced the machines of the Ferlita Bakery and other businesses. He built the first hydraulic macaroni machine in Florida.
