Flo Wilkinson (left) and Nancy Tribble (right) were both from Tallahassee, and were both mermaid stand-ins. Ann Blyth was born in upstate New York. She began her career as a young opera singer, but moved to film, starring in "Mildred Pierce", "One Minute to Zero", and several other movies of the 1940's and 1950's.
