Standing L-R : Mrs. S. Lloyd Frisbie (Marguerite), Mrs. Loyal Frisbie (Louise), Mrs. Dorothy Brooks, S. Lloyd Frisbie, and Lennox Barnes.
The Frisbies then operated the Polk County Democrat while the two younger Frisbie men Loyal and Richard were in the service.
Mr. Barnes was a retired newspaperman.
Mrs. Brooks was in charge of The Record in the absence of the Gallemore family, whose men were in the service.
