This day-long Greek Orthodox celebration includes a morning service at St. Nicholas Cathedral, the release of a white dove of peace, and the ritual dive by Greek Orthodox boys in Spring Bayou for a cross. These events are followed by the glendi, or party, featuring Greek foods, music, and dancing.
