Accompanying note: "Governor Bob Martinez, (r), is confronted by demonstrators on the steps of the Madison Co. courthouse, 6/13, as he makes a campaign sweep through North Florida. The protestors want the governor to stop a private company, Waste Tech, from building an incinerator in the county. Martinez explained the company would have to go through the Dept. of Environmental Regulation and the Department of Natural Resources before they could have a permit."
Biographical Note
From 1963 to 1992, photographer Donn Dughi worked for a number of media outlets in Tallahassee, including WCTV, the United Press International (UPI), and the Associated Press. From 1992 until his retirement in 2001, Dughi was a photographer for the Florida House of Representatives.
