Letter from Governor George Franklin Drew notifying Secretary of State William D. Bloxham that he had officially removed several officials from public office in Clay County, specifically Lewis Wilson, James W. Mainard, Henry Bryan, James Andrews, and G.V. Sullivan as county commissioners and Joseph W. Applegate as county treasurer. Drew wrote that he had also removed Samuel Jackson as Justice of the Peace, but the words are crossed out and annotated to show that Jackson had resigned.
