August 17, 1833. Statement by R.K. Call To The People of Florida. Folder contains three articles. FIRST ARTICLE. Written on side is the name James Westcoat, Sr. and correlated to the underlined Junius in the article. It is printed in The Florida Tallahassee a weekly paper. It is a statement concerning a recently printed letter from Junius charging Call with certain improprieties. Refers to an affair between Governor Calliava and Captain Cruz att. SECOND ARTICLE. This article is written against secession (handwritten) around 1860-61. THIRD ARTICLE. One page is marked 5 and one is marked 16. Regarding war expenses and mentions the Missouri Compromise.
