It also shows vocational education, Future Farmers, oyster cultivation, music, theater and art. It shows architecture of various campuses and ends with a speech by Floyd T. Description
The Miss Florida Pageant begins in Sarasota with the girls checking into a motel on Lido Beach. They get a room, roommate, a number, and a chaperone; then they get into bathing suits. They cavort and mug for the cameras, frolic in the surf, and practice for the big night. They pose, frolic some more, have their hair done, and drink a Pepsi for the camera. They visit Sarasota Jungle Gardens, Circus Hall of Fame, and Horn's Cars of Yesterday and eat at Seven Steers Steak House. Then the big event is shown. Produced by FDC.

This film begins in Pensacola. Viewers see Fort Pickens, Blue Angels and the Naval Air Station. The film moves to Panama City, where viewers see people frolicking in the surf and teens with a guitar. In Tallahassee, the film shows Apalachee Parkway toward the Old Capitol, FSU and Killearn Gardens State Park (now Alfred B. Maclay Gardens State Park). Viewers see Rainbow Springs' "submarine boats" and Weeki Wachee. At Tarpon Springs, a diver puts on a suit and jumps in. Also shown are Tampa Bay hotels, fishing party boats, tarpon fishing, horse and dog races, jai-alai, baseball spring training, golf, boating and skiing. The film also shows Cypress Gardens, Busch Gardens, Sarasota's Horn's Cars of Yesterday and Sarasota Jungle Gardens. Viewers see the Ringling Brothers Circus in Venice, the Edison Home in Fort Myers and the Caribbean Gardens in Naples. Produced by Beckley Films and FDC; sponsored by Eastern Airlines and FDC.

Description
This film documents a group of skiers as they make a 17-day trip on water skis to the New York World's Fair. Along the way they promote St. Petersburg as a town for "young and old alike." The narrator, Communications Chief Jim Gray, describes the intention of the trip, the difficulties the skiers and boat drivers encounter and each place the skiers stop and speak with the press. The skiers go south through Venice and Fort Myers before cutting across the state via the Okeechobee Waterway. The group then travels up Florida's Atlantic coast, stopping in Jensen Beach, New Smyrna Beach, Jacksonville Beach and Fernandina. They continue along the coast stopping in other states before reaching the Statue of Liberty and New York City. This 1,600 mile trip by amateur skiers ends with a performance at the World's Fair Marina. Produced by FDC; sponsored by St. Petersburg Chamber of Commerce.
