This film starts in Havana, Florida, showing tobacco growing. Then, it moves on to Tallahassee with the Capitol and FSU, the Grove (next to the Governor's Mansion), Killearn Gardens and beautiful flowers, the Floridian Hotel, the Cherokee Hotel and Wakulla Springs. Then, viewers see Perry, Suwannee, Stuckey's, Dogland, Williston and Castro Farms. Produced by Guided Tours.

Description
This film shows camping and recreation areas available in Florida during the 1960s. There are scenes of state parks, national forests and national parks, including Fort Clinch, Florida Caverns, Everglades National Park and Apalachicola National Forest. Families are shown enjoying park facilities and recreational activities during their camping trips. Two Boy Scouts canoe down the Suwannee River from the Stephen Foster Memorial to Manatee Springs State Park, and they see the paddle wheel replica “Suwannee Belle” and camp at Suwannee River State Park. At Highlands Hammock, a guide feeds marshmallows to an alligator to entertain a tour group. Finally, a young couple on their honeymoon visit Everglades National Park and boat to a campsite on an island in the Florida Keys. Bill Shipley interviews several individuals regarding the Cross Florida Barge Canal. Buck Ray and a Florida Game and Fresh Water Fish Commission Officer are interviewed. They explain their opposition to the project while they travel on the Silver and Ocklawaha Rivers. Mr. Shipley interviews representatives of Ocala County's government and business organizations who support the project. "Narrated" by Big John Bass, this film has good underwater photography at Silver Springs. Viewers see ducks, turtles, mullet, snakes, alligators, scuba divers, jack fish and saltwater bass from underwater. The film also shows anhinga and monkeys. Directed by Ricou Browning, who played the monster in "Creature from the Black Lagoon" and directed "Flipper" and other shows for Ivan Tors Studios.

Description
This film shows how Ross Allen captures dangerous animals for the Ross Allen Reptile Institute at Silver Springs. Allen wrestles an alligator and then brings it to an enclosure. There is a tour of the Seminole Indian Village and footage of clothing and corn grinding. Francis Osceola wrestles an alligator. Linda Kennedy wears a boa constrictor, and a young boy chooses a snake to buy. Ross Allen and his son Tom then wrestle a 20-foot, 120-pound anaconda at Silver Springs to show how it's done, and then they return the snake to its enclosure. There is footage of other attractions at Silver Springs, including the Jungle Cruise down the Silver River, the Deer Ranch, the Carriage Cavalcade and the Prince of Peace Memorial by artist Paul Cunningham. This film shows the dioramas, created by carver/sculptor Paul Cunningham, on display in small chapels at Silver Springs. Each is a scene from the New Testament, including a reproduction of da Vinci's "Last Supper." The end of the film shows other features of Silver Springs, including Deer Ranch, glass-bottom boats, Carriage Cavalcade and the bathing beach. A cameraman films underwater and boat cruises go up the river. This was filmed in Kodachrome.
