Description
This film offers a melodramatic countdown of the 10 days leading up to March 3, 1862, when Union forces discovered that Confederate troops had abandoned Fort Duncan Lamont Clinch without a fight. The narrator recounts the fort's history and its gradual decline in defenses and troop occupation. The camera pans around the deserted fort as the narrator describes the peaceful taking of the unarmed and unmanned fort.
