It was made in conjunction with the Viva Florida 500 commemoration and provides an overview of Florida history from prehistoric times to the present. Produced for television, the film features commercials for the Florida Lottery, Florida Department of Veterans Affairs, and the Florida League of Cities. Many of the images used in the film come from the collections of the State Library and Archives of Florida.
