The Deckards of Lake City sang gospel music. Smith was a storyteller from Fort Myers. George and Martha Heaps-Nelson were from Swainsboro, Georgia.

- One video recording (VHS; 60 minutes) Video highlights of a summer school program the FFP offered for South Hamilton Elementary School. The program, aimed at the "at risk" students (K-5) had tow goals: 1. acquire knowledge of folk traditions (riddles, tales, etc.) 2. enhance the students self-esteem The program began with Jacksonville-based storyteller Smith, and followed by instruction by folklorists Shanafelt and Higgs. At the end, the folklorists assessed the success of the program.

Suzanna; Mark Moore; Story of Tioga Waltz (Foster's first song); Music by the Amigo Male Singers; Story of Josie Billie; Tininkling by David and Estrella Larioza; and tall tales by Lem Griffis. These programs were created in the early 1960s by the Stephen Foster Memorial to promote the park and its activities, as well as to educate the public about Stephen Foster and Florida folk music.

- One reel to reel recording. (15 minutes). Four short radio stories: 1. Open Thy Lattice, Love (3:30) -- story behind Stephen Foster's first published song. 2. Fletcher Hodges, Jr. (3:46)-- story about the curator of Foster Hall at the University of Pittsburgh, and author of a Foster biography. Hodges was a native of Indiana, where he was asked in 1932 to curate the Eli Lilly and Co.'s collection of Foster materials (20,000 items). He moved with the collection to the University of Pittsburgh in 1937. 3. Masaryktown (3:45) -- story of the Czechoslovakian community, with Jerry Psenka's music. 4. Lem Griffis (4:00) -- sampler of Griffis' humorous stories; who was from the Okeefenokee swamp in South Georgia (the headwaters of the Suwannee River). He was a regular performer at the Festival. These programs were created in the early 1960s by the Stephen Foster Memorial to promote the park and its activities, as well as to educate the public about Stephen Foster and Florida folk music.

Also includes jokes by Okeefenokkee Swamp native Griffis, stories by Creek Indian Fred Beaver, Tininkling by the Lariozas, and a performance of I Dream of Jeanie by the carillon tower. These programs were created in the early 1960s by the Stephen Foster Memorial to promote the park and its activities, as well as to educate the public about Stephen Foster and Florida folk music.
