The quilt was created for the Coalition for Peace with Justice. She disccusses organizing the event; finding quilters; the process of making the quilt: 26 quilt patches created separately, then sewn together; discussions of the indivdual patches: the patterns and quilters/creators; and plans for the quilt.

In addition, she describes growing up on a farm and planting crops by signs and omens.
