One digital audio tape (DAT). Bucuvalas served as the emcee. The Johnsons were Lisa Johnson (piano, keyboard), John Johnson (guitar, mandolin), Martin Johnson (fiddle), and Vgo. From Gainesville, they played Klezmer music. Romeo and the Boys played Trinidadian music. The group included Ragbir, Mahesh Roopharine, Chris Jai Karan, Joe Ramanan, Robert Ragbit, Barry Jai Karan, and Shivanan Ramanan. They were participants in the Folklife Apprenticeship program. Apo and Lavoi played Hawaiian music, including playing the poi balls.

Description
One video recording. (VHS; 26 minutes) Just the Way It Was was a cultural group that exhibited Haitian and Jamaican culture, including dance, music, and storytelling. They also had a cable access television program in Miami. This was episode #3 of that series. In it, Louis hosts a selection of Haitian music, dance, and storytelling. Louis told a traditional Haitian tale. The drummers were Kettly and Rosemond Pascal. The dancers were Bien-Aine, A. Louis, Escarmant, Sanneau, Hall, Simon, Polynice, and Labossiere. Fuller and Louis produced the program.

One video recording (3/4", 22 minutes). Includes most of Junkanoos performance on the main stage (see T91-30 for audio recording.) Fitchen served as emcee. Followed by the City of Dunedin Pipe Band, who marched from the rear of the audience to the stage. Their performance was filmed from the back the back of the stage, facing the audience. Hard to hear. Continued on FV-71. (See T91-31 for audio recording.) Includes many shots of the audience.

Two audio cassettes. Recording of an evening church service, including gospel music, prayers, sermons, Bible readings, and lining out. Much of the signing was accompanied by drums, tambourine, and piano. Several children sang. Often hard to hear due to noise of congregation.
