C84-10: Interview with Jim Bob Tinsley and Dottie Tinsley as part of the Library Folklife Program; Jim Bob describes his early life and how he learned to play music and how he got into cowboy music; Woodmen of the World Band; joining the Navy playing in a band in Africa during World War II; tells stories about the songs he performs as well as about Gene Autry and Winston Churchill; Dottie describes clogging steps. C84-11: Continuation of interview and performance in C84-10; he continues discussing cowboy music and the songs he performs; vagabonds; WLS National Barndance; Dr. John R. Brinkley stations in Mexico and Texas; continuation of traditions in singing and writing cowboy songs; his book; Jim Reeves; his albums.

Nine color slides. Images of long-time Lake Wales resident and rancher Sam Keen winning a Pioneer of the Year award at the annual Pioneer Days in Lake Wales. Begun in 1977 and held each fall, the festival celebrates the pioneer period (1853-1925) of Lake Wales through traditional arts, entertainment, and food. A Pioneer of the Year award is handed out during each festival.

Starts with Jaya Radhakrishnan and her daughter Nila demonstrating traditional dances of India on the main stage. That is followed by Dixon performing two cowboy songs , also on the main stage. The video concludes with footage of the bell tower, the Stephen Foster Museum, and the crowds. Audio recording of Jaya and Nila can be found on reels T85-111 and T85-112; and Dixon can be found on reel T85-112.
