Sawmill: Raw footage of Frog talking with sawmill worker Joe Hendry, at Jerome Lumber Company. They discuss sawmilling in Florida in the early 1900s, including pine and cypress timber, logging, accidents and dangers of sawmills, child labor, and tools involved. Discuss working in Wassau, Kenansville, Okeechobee, Hopkins, Lake City, Levy County, and along the Suwannee River. For more footage, see FV-26, V86-29, and V86-25.

Starts with Jaya Radhakrishnan and her daughter Nila demonstrating traditional dances of India on the main stage. That is followed by Dixon performing two cowboy songs , also on the main stage. The video concludes with footage of the bell tower, the Stephen Foster Museum, and the crowds. Audio recording of Jaya and Nila can be found on reels T85-111 and T85-112; and Dixon can be found on reel T85-112.

Description
Two DAT tapes. This was the third visit by folklorist Stone; recorded at Groth's residence. Consists of a rehearsal (tape 14) and an interview with Groth (tape 14 and 15). The Folk Arts Apprenticeship Program began in 1983 with a NEA grant of $22,000. The program provided an opportunity for master folk artists to share technical skills and cultural knowledge with apprentices in order to keep the tradition alive. Apprentices must have had some experience in the tradition and agreed to train for at least six months. The first project director was Blanton Owen, later replaced by folklorist Peter Roller. The program was continued each year through 2004.

Description
Seven reel-to-reel audiotapes. Recording of a conversation and impromptu performance by Brown and Williams. This was the first time these men had met. They discuss gospel, country, rock and roll, and blues music; women; segregation; other folk festivals; various jobs they worked; and performing. They perform several songs. The audio quality varies from poor to fair throughout. Copied onto audiocassettes C81-12, C81-13 and C81-14.
