One reel to reel recording. (Copied onto C86-70.) Bronsztein played traditional Jewish wedding songs. After his performance, Kalikow played a short, spontaneous performance on piano. The folklife area in 1986 focused on Miami-Dade, which stemmed from fieldwork work on the 1986 Miami-Dade Folklife Survey, conducted by Lauri Sommers, Tina Bucuvalas, and Nancy Nusz.

Two audio cassette recordings. Jaime Bronsztein and James Kelly discuss their respective musical traditions (klezmer and Irish); how they are played; specific tunes such as the Hava Nagila (Yiddish) and O'Carolan's Concerto (Irish). They also discuss their family backgrounds, careers and George Phillips. They attempt to play an Irish-Israeli version of the Hava Nagila. Because this was the 40th festival, the Crossroads area was partly devoted to performers who contributed to the festival's past and development.

One reel to reel recording. (Also copied onto C90-11.) Michael served as emcee. Brenner (of Altamonte Springs, on clarinet) and Marder (of Orlando, on piano) played Klezmer music. Then answered questions from Michael. Each year at the Florida Folk Festival, the Florida Folklife Program emphasized a particular culture, tradtions, or geographic area. In 1990, they emphasized celebrations of various Florida groups. including Haitians, Trinidadians, Greeks, and Jewish peoples.

Six audio cassettes. Sponsored by the Historical Museum of Southern Florida, the festival was held at the Metro-Dade Cultural Center. In 1987, the name of the festival was changed to the Traditions Festival. Stock and Sommers served as emcees. Mariachi Jalisco consisted of: Francisco Rodriguez, guitar; Gabriel Mateo, trumpet; José Areano, guitarón; Hector Varel, trumpet; Pablo Martinez, vihuela. The Billy Rolle Jazz Band consisted of: Billy Rolle, alto and tenor sax; Noel Cruz, electric piano; Robert Cooper, string bass; Al Greers, drums. The bata drummers consisted of: Rinaldo Pena, drum; Arturo Pena, drum; Cerresta Quinzano, drum; Ernesto Pichardo, vocals. Bronsztein played the clarinet, while Bracha joined him on electric piano.
